Launching Dr Aya Naj

We shot the divine Dr Aya Naj in a simple studio playing with a balance of light and dark to compliment an editorial, natural aesthetic, rarely paired with traditional clinical dentistry. But Dr Aya is no traditional dentist, she's out to be just the opposite and make waves in the industry with her honest and open podcast.
The creative direction was to go for a more polished concrete, natural light studio. We did some moodier shots with her wearing a black power suit for variance, and because her personal branding leant more into a dark mode aesthetic. However, we still chose to capture her with some lighter, softer imagery to craft a visual balance and lean into her approachable clinical persona too.
